DWF Toolkit Downloads Still Strong

The DWF Toolkit contains C++ libraries that aid in the reading and writing of DWF files. Experienced C++ programmers use these libraries to work with DWF files without having to completely understand the underlying data format. The DWF Toolkit is available free of charge at:

It continues to be a banner year for downloads of the DWF Toolkit. More and more companies are rallying around the DWF format. A variety of third party applications exists.

Last year about 100 programmers downloaded the DWF Toolkit each week. This year that number has almost doubled - hovering at 193.

DWF Toolkit 7 added support for the Macintosh and Linux. There is steady representation for these platforms, so the potential for more and more DWF-related applications to appear on these platforms exists. With the Project Freewheel Technology Preview available for the Macintosh and Linux, perhaps these platforms will get even more attention!
