Hotfix Autodesk DWF Writer 3.1.1 Now Available

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released a Hotfix for Autodesk DWF Writer 3 that addresses an issue affecting AutoCAD 2007 usage. This issue also affects Autodesk Design Review 2007 customers running AutoCAD 2007 (DWF Writer 3.1 is included with Autodesk Design Review 2007) and customers who have installed the earlier DWF Writer 3.0 version on machines running AutoCAD 2007.

This hotfix resolves crashes encountered when launching AutoCAD 2007 in 3D modeling workspace when DWF Writer 3.0 or 3.1 is installed on the same machine.

1. Download the Hotfix (DWFWriterHotfix311.zip) and extract the executable from the zip file to your hard drive.

2. Double-click on the hotfix executable and follow the prompts.

Though the DWF Writer is not intended to be used with AutoCAD, many Autodesk customers have both AutoCAD and the DWF Writer on the same machine, so that they can create one DWF file with CAD and nonCAD data alike.
