Constructware Update

Senior Product Manager, Matt Wheelis, reports that:

We are pleased to inform you that Friday, December 15, 2006 the Constructware site will be updated with the December 2006 updated features. This rollout includes an update to the Routing functionality and multiple currency support, as well as several other items as listed below.

The following is an overview of the key features and benefits included in this rollout:

Routing/Workflow Updates - Constructware routing has been updated to allow for extremely flexible workflows and approval routes, including parallel processes, multiple step participants, feedback loops, step timers and notifications, and conditional workflow logic.

Project-Specific Currency – You can now allow any number of currencies to be used in your site, and specify the currency on a per-project basis. This functionality is optional – by default end users will not see these options.

User Welcome Emails – These emails now show in your Personal Outbox (with the password masked) as a record of items sent to the new user.

Spell Checker – Added to the Feedback submission page and to the comments page throughout the product.

Email login URL – You can now specify the URL to be shown in emails sent from the system inviting users to login, if you have access to Maintenance > Client Setup, Preferences tab. This can be especially useful when you have a site or link set up to redirect to the login page.

Multiple Brava Sessions – You can now open up to 3 Brava review sessions at one time to be able to compare multiple drawings.

Lookup tables – The Quick Find (in-page filter) feature has been implemented in the Maintenance > Data Maintenance > Lookup Tables area to more easily configure pick lists.
