In a sure sign of the coming of the Apocalypse, it snowed in Phoenix on Sunday.
Those tiny white flecks are actually snow - or at least what passes for snow here in the desert.
The second sign was that the New Orleans Saints lost to the Chicago Bears in the NFL NFC Championship football game.

In my part of town, it was light snow. Friends who had come over to watch the Saints-Bears game returned to their home, only 5 miles away, to find enough snow accumulated in their backyard to make a 12" snowman.
