When an AutoCAD 2006 user creates a layout, he specifies a plotter and settings such as page size and plot orientation. These settings are saved in a page setup. A user can control these settings for layouts and for the model space using the Page Setup Manager. The Page Setup Manager provides the ability to name and save page setups for use with other layouts. Named Page Setups are templates which allow users to override how layouts plot. Using Named Page Setups saves time! The Named Page Setups are defined on a Layout and stored in the DWG. Named Page Setups provide an easy way to override a mix of settings from various Page Setups and make them consistent when generating a multisheet DWF file.
