Several newsgroup users have been experimenting with the beta of Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. These users have encountered problems with the Autodesk DWF Viewer and Autodesk Design Review. Furthermore, uninstalling the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 beta and reverting to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 does not restore DWF operation 100%. So testing with the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 beta is not recommended at this time.
Autodesk DWF Viewer and Autodesk Design Review (formerly known as Autodesk DWF Composer) rely on Internet Explorer for their user interfaces. This applies to using these applications inside the browser or stand-alone. Customers who have installed Internet Explorer 7 find that their menu items and toolbars do not display.
Autodesk continues to work with Microsoft as Internet Explorer 7 is being developed. A hotfix is now available.
