What's New for DWF in Autodesk Inventor 11

Autodesk Inventor Product Line Manager, Amy Bunszel, published a What's New in Inventor 11 PDF document (680KB).

With regard to Autodesk Inventor 11 and DWF, "DWF output is enhanced to enable the 3D model to be output to the same file as the drawing sheet. New options allow you to select the drawing sheets and to control whether or not to include the 3D data."

Autodesk DWF Viewer 6.5 supports the ability to view a composite DWF file which is a combination of 3D and 2D data. So Autodesk DWF Viewer 6.5 will be able to view DWF files from Inventor that combine 3D and 2D. With regard to Autodesk DWF Composer R2, this capability will be included in the next release where the product will be renamed to Autodesk Design Review 2007.
