What software publishes DWF files?

The publishing question can be answered similarly for 2D and 3D.

1. What software publishes 2D DWF files?
   You can publish 2D DWF files from Autodesk applications starting with AutoCAD 2002, or from non-Autodesk applications with the free Autodesk DWF Writer for 2D. Other Autodesk design software applications such as Autodesk Revit also publish 2D DWF files. A list of 3rd party DWF applications is available as part of this blog. 2. What software publishes 3D DWF files?
   Autodesk 3D applications such as Autodesk Inventor publish 3D DWF files. Beginning with AutoCAD 2006, the AutoCAD-based products also publish 3D DWF files. You also can create 3D DWF files using the free Autodesk DWF 3D Writer which captures OpenGL commands from non-Autodesk applications.
