Product Marketing Manager, Gabrielle Friedly, reports that Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill LLP and prominent engineering firms adopted the Autodesk® Revit® building information modeling (BIM) platform to deliver maximum accuracy, coordination, and value on the 1,776-foot Freedom Tower -- the first commercial building to be constructed on the site of the former World Trade Center. The Freedom Tower design team used Autodesk Collaboration Solutions, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max, and worked closely with Autodesk Consulting to achieve project success.
