The Product Design and Usability team is conducting a usability study in late August and is looking for participants. If you are interested and fit the criteria below, send an email to Autodesk Usability Specialist, Pam Polizzi, at [email protected]. If you can't be involved yourself but work with people who would be appropriate, send Pam an email. She’s eager to talk to people who want to provide usability feedback on new designs that are under development.
Study criteria
- In your job role, you participate in the internal or external design review process, reviewing other people’s designs.
- You do not use any CAD or engineering programs extensively to create designs, or for any other purpose.
- For the Building and Construction industry, you must be a:
- Project Manager
- Supervisor
- Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), or other type of Engineer/Consultant
- Estimator
- Plan checker
- Purchasing agent
- Sales or Marketing representative
- Facilities Manager
- Sub-contractor
- For the Manufacturing industry, you must be a:
- Project Manager
- Supervisor/Process planner
- Engineering Manager
- Supplier (can be a sales person or an engineer who communicates with the customer)
- Someone from a shop floor who puts assemblies together and/or creates models or a welder, driller, or someone who uses a milling machine
- Someone who works in the Purchasing department and purchases standard parts and works with suppliers
