Lighting consultant and lighting simulation specialist, Pierre-Felix Breton, shares his 3D models with his clients using Project Freewheel.
The ability to share designs, both 3D and 2D, without having to install any additional software helps get design data to people via electronic means. DWF and Project Freewheel make that possible. This is faster and goes beyond what can be done with traditional paper.
I do like pictures, I alway convert pictures to formats that I want. So I know some software that can help you to convert and print 2D and 3D model images, that is,
CtrlView
- CtrlView helps you view, convert and print 2D and 3D model images, you can rotate, zoom in, zoom out and adjust color to your 3D objects, and then save it into Macromedia Flash for your website.

CtrlView requires an install. The difference between Freewheel and Autodesk Design Review is that Freewheel does not require the user viewing the 3D or 2D data to install anything in addition to their browser.

Autodesk Design Review provides markup and measurement that round trip with design applications. Autodesk Freewheel does not do this yet.
