The first thing you’ll notice when you start Autodesk Design Review 2010 is the new user interface - the application button…that big “D” icon in the upper-left corner…and the new ribbon UI. Novice Design Review users will no doubt appreciate how the application button consolidates and organizes file and program related tools, and how the ribbon groups tools in task-based tabs and panels.
The second thing you’ll notice is that the menus are gone. Experienced Design Review users may lament the loss of their familiar menus, and may look for a way to get them back. And this is where I tell you that Autodesk Design Review 2010 does not contain a “classic” mode…so you can’t revert to using menus.
On the bright side, it doesn’t take long to get up to speed using the new UI. To assist in that effort, for each Design Review 2009 menu, we’ve pointed to the corresponding Design Review 2010 location. In some cases you will notice that a tool may have changed names.

Of course, like in the previous version, there are more ways to perform the actions listed here in Autodesk Design Review 2010. Keyboard shortcuts and right-click menus are still available.
For a more complete list of those, be sure to download the Autodesk Design Review 2010 Quick Reference Guide PDF file.
