Hi Volker,

Quick Navisworks comment. How about a little "map" in the top corner of NW with a red dot symbolizing "You Are Here"? We are using NW as a 3D viewer to navigate around the building but often times lose our location. A little window that slices through the level you are on would be nice.

Hi Ian, are you familiar with the 'plan view' or 'section view' tools. I think they offer some of the functionality that you are after, but interested in any shortcomings that you think they currently have.
